This training focuses on the correlation and alignment of ISO 26262 and Automotive SPICE® and assessing the fulfilment of both standards’ requirements.

Automotive SPICE® is an established standard in automotive electronic control unit (ECU) development. Many process-improvement projects based on Automotive SPICE® lead to achieving more mature processes earlier. Another standard has tightened the requirements for automotive ECU development: ISO 26262 must be fulfilled in context of functional safety. Is SPICE now obsolete Is it possible to assess mature processes at the same time as auditing the fulfillment of ISO 26262 requirements

This four- to five-day training focuses on the correlation and alignment of ISO 26262 and Automotive SPICE®. We will show how to evaluate the fulfilment of requirements of both standards and provide examples of applying a joint approach to evaluate the process.

This training provides a deeper insight into the extent to which the requirements of both standards influence the development processes to help assessors and auditors to check the fulfillment of both standards’ requirements.

The training consists of presentations, exercises, discussions and opportunities for participants to ask questions and share their experiences.
